Job Description
Community Manager growing Reddit’s French-speaking communities and moderator networks. Driving local growth initiatives and consumer operations across the UK or Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of the market to identify user and local moderator challenges and opportunities
- Iterate, innovate, and scale the consumer growth playbook
- Recognize opportunities, suggest bold ideas and programs, and persuade internal teams to align on plans
- Build strategic plans to cultivate, recruit, educate, and grow local moderator communities
- Implement a conversion funnel to onboard power users and external creators as active moderators
- Communicate quantitative and qualitative insights to optimize the international consumer growth playbook
- Analyze data, set KPIs, and execute impactful community initiatives
- Use data to uncover community and moderator insights influencing the local team’s direction
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Community, Engineering, Marketing, Safety, and BD teams
Requirements:
- Contract engagement open to candidates based in the UK or Ireland
- 5+ years of community development, project management, growth, operations, or product consulting experience
- Track record of community-led projects that have driven business impact
- Deep knowledge and understanding of French culture, including current events, politics, customs, traditions, language, topics of interest, and taboos
- Nuanced comprehension of France’s digital landscape and internet culture
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, local users, moderators, partners, content creators, and influencers
- Outstanding execution and high attention to detail
- Deep interest in developing and driving projects, framing issues, seeking solutions, testing hypotheses, and iterating on process improvements
- Proficiency in French and English
