Job Description
Compensation Analyst II analyzing pay programs, market data, and incentives at The Standard, an insurance and financial services company. Supporting annual compensation processes and data-driven business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, benchmarking, and compensation analyses
- Participate in compensation surveys and prepare, validate, and submit compensation data
- Support annual compensation programs, salary administration, and incentive plan processes
- Develop reports, analyses, and modeling to support compensation decisions and program design
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance compensation programs and operations
- Partner with HR Business Partners, leaders, and Compensation team members
- Provide compensation insights that support business decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 4+ years of compensation experience or equivalent experience involving data analysis, modeling, and evaluation
- Experience conducting market pricing, job evaluations, compensation benchmarking, and salary administration activities
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting, validating, and presenting data-driven insights
- Experience working with compensation surveys, reporting, and compensation program administration
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain compensation concepts to a variety of audiences
- Experience using Workday or a similar Human Capital Management (HCM) system preferred
- Experience supporting incentive compensation or sales compensation programs preferred
- Criminal background investigation and employment, education, and licensing verification required as a condition of employment
- Must be bondable
