Job Description
Compliance Officer supporting compliance programs at Muvr, a logistics platform ensuring regulatory adherence. Focused on daily compliance operations and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Support and execute company-wide compliance programs.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Track compliance obligations related to transportation/logistics, labor and contractor compliance, payments, data privacy, and consumer protection.
- Maintain compliance documentation, records, and audit evidence.
- Assist with licenses, permits, regulatory filings, and registrations.
- Perform compliance monitoring, testing, and reviews.
- Support internal audits, regulatory examinations, and external audits.
- Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk, legal operations, or a related field.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, marketplace, mobility, fintech, or gig-economy environments.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements related to transportation, labor, consumer protection, or payments.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with compliance monitoring or audit processes (preferred).
- Exposure to regulatory inquiries or examinations (preferred).
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as CCPA/CPRA (preferred).
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth company (preferred).
