Job Description

Compliance Specialist supporting projects and managing risks at Grupo Boticário, a leader in the beauty sector. Focused on regulatory change and governance strategies to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Act in a consultative capacity with the business, mapping risks and applying by-design strategies to new projects and initiatives;
  • Identify regulatory changes that impact the continuity of strategic projects and monitor the status of action plans for mitigation;
  • Validate and implement automated controls and technological solutions for Compliance processes, driving the use of artificial intelligence and automation to optimize resources;
  • Assess risks, opportunities and business best practices in expansion processes (e.g., election periods, permit and license applications) and in interactions with government entities and strategic partners;
  • Conduct due diligence on national and international partners in expansion operations, analyzing compliance and third‑party risks;
  • Conduct research and prepare consultative opinions on risks and provide guidance to operations and business areas;
  • Identify governance and business continuity opportunities that intersect with compliance requirements;
  • Support the development of action plans to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of initiatives;
  • Identify risks and monitor relevant transactions to meet AML/CFT regulatory obligations and conduct internal investigations objectively and based on data;
  • Support governance of Compliance Program topics (indicators, training, communications, policies and procedures);
  • Prepare strategic and executive reports to provide clear and concise updates to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related fields;
  • Experience in areas performing risk management, internal controls, fraud management or compliance functions, and regulatory experience in payment services companies;
  • Previous experience with process mapping, Compliance and risk assessment;
  • Experience monitoring the Brazilian regulatory landscape and with AML/CFT;
  • Advanced Google Workspace skills (Slides, Sheets and Docs);
  • Intermediate English (speaking, reading, comprehension, writing).
