Job Description
Part-time remote coordinator recovering patient consents and medical devices for InfuSystem, a nationwide infusion pump services provider. Documenting calls and supporting billing, patients, customer service, and revenue cycle teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a productive workload and achieve meaningful results
- Recover devices from patients, including infusion pumps, pain infusion pumps, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy devices
- Obtain signed consent documents allowing InfuSystem to bill for services rendered across all service lines
- Place outbound calls to patients for consent sign-off and device recovery
- Document detailed information from outbound device or consent recovery calls
- Serve as a liaison between patients, customer service, and the revenue cycle
- Meet InfuSystem work productivity and quality standards
- Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned
- Represent InfuSystem’s core values and maintain professionalism
Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ experience in the healthcare industry
- Medical terminology, required
- Strong listening skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Ability to function independently
- Ability to document meticulously
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment
- Natural curiosity to pursue issues and increase expertise
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work selflessly as part of a team
- Must have a dedicated workspace, reliable internet, and cellular phone service
- Required working schedule may include limited weekend coverage
