Job Description
Construction Technician assembling municipal, industrial, and agricultural liquid storage systems. Traveling across Canada with field crews to build essential infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Work on active construction sites building municipal, industrial and agricultural liquid storage systems
- Operate power tools and equipment to assemble tank systems, including impact tools, torque wrenches and caulking equipment
- Work with a field crew, typically five team members including the Foreman, to coordinate daily tasks
- Keep projects moving safely and efficiently
- Support project timelines through reliable execution, teamwork and strong work ethic
- Travel extensively to project sites across Canada, including overnight stays away from home depending on project requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Construction
- Ability to work within a team based environment focused on safety, productivity, quality and customer service
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Valid Class G driver’s license or ability to get to crew meeting point
- Comfortable with physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather
- Desire to learn new skills
- Comfortable with travel
- Understanding of both oral and written instructions
- Willingness to undertake extensive travel and overnight stays away from home depending on project requirements
