Job Description
Construction Technician assembling municipal, industrial and agricultural liquid storage systems. Traveling across Canada to active construction sites with field crews.
Responsibilities:
- Work on active construction sites building municipal, industrial and agricultural liquid storage systems
- Operate power tools and equipment, including impact tools, torque wrenches and caulking equipment, to assemble tank systems
- Work with a field crew, typically five team members including the Foreman, to coordinate daily tasks
- Support project timelines through reliable execution, teamwork and strong work ethic
- Travel to project sites across Canada and stay overnight away from home as project requirements dictate
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Construction
- Ability to work within a team-based environment focused on safety, productivity, quality and customer service
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Valid Class G driver’s license or ability to get to crew meeting point
- Comfortable with physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather
- Desire to learn new skills
- Comfortable with travel
- Understanding of both oral and written instructions
- Willingness to undertake extensive travel to project sites across Canada, including overnight stays away from home
