Job Description
Consultant II at SPS Commerce developing standardized solutions for a global retail trading network. Handling problem research, diagnosis, and implementation of technology products.
Responsibilities:
- The Consultant II works in a team of professionals responsible for developing standardized solutions for customers.
- This role will facilitate problem research, isolation, diagnosis, resolution and follow-up for customer change events, managing all escalated events appropriately, when necessary.
- Execute installation, upgrades, testing, and system configuration as part of completing implementation project.
- Perform post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products.
- May consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, and to understand clients' business objectives and goals.
- Inform customer and other stakeholders of project progress.
- Conduct tasks and assignments as directed.
- Work under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
- Track progress of Implementation project(s).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to apply, test, and re-configure data rules in order to produce desired results
- Preferred Experience 3-5 years professional business experience
- A balanced mix of skills: driver and facilitator, tactical leader and doer
- Familiarity with XML a plus
- Experience with text editing and data mapping tools
- In-depth knowledge of mapping tools and functionality
