Job Description

Cisco technical leader designing and implementing Data Centre networking solutions for complex customer environments. Advising customers and driving technology adoption, automation, and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers
  • Own and lead the strategy, design, and implementation of sophisticated Data Centre and networking solutions
  • Provide technical leadership for complex cross-functional projects using Cisco Data Centre technologies in large and complex customer network environments
  • Drive adoption of innovative technology to solve business problems and deliver scalable, robust services
  • Apply and share advanced AI tools to optimize team workflows and eliminate low-value work
  • Shape best practices for validation and refinement
  • Ensure solutions deliver measurable value and improve longer-term customer adoption and satisfaction
  • Act as an escalation point for complex problem resolution across a broad range of Data Centre technologies
  • Lead development of digital intellectual capital, repeatable delivery frameworks, and knowledge-sharing practices
  • Maintain relationships with Engineering Business Units and Service Development teams to influence product roadmaps and service offerings
  • Collaborate with Cisco account teams, partners, and multifunctional groups to drive technology transitions and business outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, with 8–12 years of relevant experience in customer-facing technical consulting, pre-sales, and/or service delivery roles
  • Deep knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols and technologies: vPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP
  • Strong hands-on Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K platform experience
  • Proven experience designing and deploying Data Centre solutions, including traditional DC standalone Nexus, Cisco VXLAN Fabric, and Cisco ACI Fabric solutions using ACI MultiPod, Multisite, and Remote Leaf Fabric architectures
  • Experience integrating network services appliances such as firewalls, IPS, load balancers, and WAN optimizers within Data Centre solution designs
  • Expert-level certification such as CCIE or Cisco DevNet, or equivalent vendor certification such as VCP, expected
  • Excellent communication and strategic planning skills
  • Self-motivated with a focus on execution
  • Advanced skills in software programmability, automation, orchestration, and/or virtualization technologies
  • Experience with Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools
  • In-depth experience with compute, virtualization, and container environments including Cisco UCS, HyperFlex, VMware, Microsoft, and Kubernetes
  • Broad experience with multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud from a network integration perspective
