Job Description

Content Moderator ensuring compliance with platform policies and guidelines for a global eCommerce company. Review and assess user-generated content while upholding online safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and moderate user-generated content to ensure compliance with platform policies and guidelines.
  • Identify and report content that violates safety standards, community guidelines, or legal requirements.
  • Follow established moderation procedures to maintain consistency in enforcement.
  • Meet accuracy and productivity targets while making fair and objective moderation decisions.
  • Escalate complex cases to senior moderators or policy teams when necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy when handling sensitive content and user data.

Requirements:

  • 6 months-1 year of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or related trust and safety fields.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to review content that may include hate speech, fraud or misinformation/disinformation.
  • Basic understanding of content moderation tools, workflows, and community guidelines.
  • Awareness of cultural differences and their impact on online communities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to document moderation decisions clearly.
