Job Description
Content Writer Intern creating engaging, SEO-friendly content for digital brands at Enterprise Monkey. Write blogs and optimize website content for improved search engine ranking.
Responsibilities:
- Write well-researched blogs, website/landing page content, and press articles.
- Research and place primary, secondary, and LSI keywords strategically.
- Make content interesting while naturally including relevant keywords.
- Optimize content for search engines using on-page SEO techniques.
- Write compelling meta titles and descriptions.
- Optimize headers (H1, H2, H3), image alt text, and URLs.
- Proofread and edit content for grammar and clarity.
- Create social media posts, official emails, and any other content required by the team.
Requirements:
- Excellent writing skills.
- Knowledge of keywords, meta tags, and content structure.
- Basic understanding of on-page SEO and keyword research.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Eager to learn and grow.
- Good to Have: Blog writing portfolio or samples
- Experience in writing for social media (especially LinkedIn).
- Drupal, WordPress, or other CMS experience.
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, etc.
- Experience in using AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude for content generation support.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and GA4.
- A degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or Journalism.
