Job Description

Corporate Compliance Officer overseeing compliance within Labcorp's North Central division. Responsible for proactive guidance and collaboration in a healthcare context across multiple states.

Responsibilities:

  • Build collaborative relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to divisional leadership
  • Provide proactive compliance guidance on clinical laboratory arrangements with healthcare providers
  • Lead compliance-related diligence and integration activities for health system acquisitions
  • Conduct thorough internal investigations into compliance program violations
  • Collaborate with Legal and Human Resources to remediate compliance issues
  • Implement compliance training programs and educational opportunities
  • Monitor state and federal healthcare laws and regulations relevant to Labcorp's operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a healthcare compliance-related role
  • 5 years Experience with implementing the Office of Inspector General’s “seven elements” of an effective corporate compliance program
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and/or Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) preferred
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and standards relevant to clinical laboratory compliance programs
