Job Description
RTX aerospace and defense cost-estimate specialist managing global mobility tax assignments. Delivering tax estimates, governing mobility processes, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Receive new cost estimate requests, review data quality, gather additional information, update data, and enter/track data using Equus and SNOW
- Prepare, review, and oversee cost estimate deliverables for bids/proposals, tax accruals, active assignments, and one-off requests
- Manage tax positions within the Equus platform
- Update standard work and provide process improvements
- Govern cost estimate delivery metrics and SLAs for internal stakeholders
- Provide education and subject matter expertise on mobility package design and tax equalization
- Ensure exception processes are followed and documented
- Support internal and external auditor requests
- Maintain collaborative relationships with business unit program leadership and finance teams
- Collaborate with Mobility COE, Operations, and cross-functional teams
- Support assignment structure design for existing and new locations
- Document requirements and cost estimate activities in systems to enable automated assignment-lifecycle flow
- Travel minimally, likely to Connecticut
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of prior global mobility experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with tax cost estimates and global mobility
- Ability to manage, coach, develop, and train a team
- Strong analytical, multitasking, problem-solving, analysis, and issue-resolution skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative cross-functional environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- At least 1–2 years of experience with the Equus platform
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Ability to work with employees at all levels
- Excellent organization, planning, and decision-making skills
- Ability to balance business and employee needs while meeting legal and regulatory requirements
- Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
- Strong project management skills
- U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the program/contract
