Job Description

Customer Account Specialist selling brightwheel’s early-education technology platform. Managing prospecting, demos, pipeline ownership, retention, and renewals.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage prospective and existing customers to understand needs and recommend brightwheel solutions
  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach and discovery
  • Run tailored live product demonstrations via Meets
  • Own the full pipeline from lead generation and qualification through demos, closing, retention, and renewal
  • Work proactively with at-risk and cancellation-risk accounts to diagnose concerns and retain customers
  • Achieve monthly revenue, retention, demo, activity, and unit goals
  • Use Salesforce to manage outreach, pipeline, and follow-ups
  • Learn the competitive landscape and position brightwheel based on customer needs
  • Review calls and demos with managers and peers to improve sales skills

Requirements:

  • Experience in customer success or account management
  • Experience working with frustrated customers
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding challenging goals in a performance-visible environment with constant performance assessments
  • Comfort with high-volume/high-velocity sales, including 70+ calls per day
  • Experience with high phone-volume activity
  • Experience working remotely
  • Experience with multiple workflows
  • Exceptional ability to identify customer challenges and solutions and overcome objections
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
  • High comfort with ambiguity
  • Preferred: Salesforce, Zoom, basic Excel/Sheets, startup environment, and early education experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
