Job Description

Customer Care Representative resolving customer and tax software inquiries for TP, a global digital business services provider. Supporting customers through phone, email, chat, video, and social media.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients
  • Manage inbound and outbound customer communications
  • Connect with customers via phone, video call, email, chat, and/or social media
  • Resolve customer questions, issues, and concerns
  • Answer product- and software-related questions
  • Provide and utilize articles to assist customers with tax questions and calculations
  • Apply defined practices, procedures, and policies to troubleshoot product/software issues
  • Calmly resolve and de-escalate issues
  • Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate
  • Track call-related information for auditing and reporting
  • Provide feedback on call issues
  • Upsell when required

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
  • Comfortable with desktop computer systems and general knowledge of Windows-based systems
  • Customer service and/or sales experience preferred
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Ability to follow established procedures
  • Ability to collaborate with team members, supervisors, and support departments
  • Outstanding communication, listening, and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work within a structured schedule with a variety of shifts
  • Sharp critical thinking skills
  • Dedicated workspace near router for hardwired Ethernet connection
  • Minimum internet speed of 15 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
  • ISP latency under 50ms
  • Internet connection cannot be satellite, mobile data/hotspots, P2P, or VPN
  • Proof of internet speed required
  • Must reside in one of the eligible states: Alabama, Florida, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, West Virginia, or Wyoming
