Job Description
Customer Service Representative managing orders, quotes, customer support, and sales for Cornerstone Building Brands’ exterior building products. Remote role based in Cary, North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate quality and accurate quotations, purchase orders, and work orders
- Ensure customer expectations are exceeded through prompt, courteous, and professional responses
- Maintain and grow sales from current active and past non-active customers
- Prospect new business
- Enter orders accurately into Oracle
- Coordinate scheduling and delivery for multiple plant sites
- Provide product knowledge and answer customer support questions
- Handle claims, account reconciliation, and transactions
- Communicate timely with the appropriate function
- Accept inbound calls to assist with basic customer needs
- Liaise between manufacturing and customers
- Learn the designated commercial/industrial product line
- Prepare quotes to assist Outside Sales
Requirements:
- Must have high math aptitude to calculate Sq Footage and assist customers when ordering
- Must have ability to multi-task, with high level of organization skills
- Ability to learn, comprehend, and apply training as well as use best judgement for case-by-case scenarios
- Ability to make proactive decisions based on customer needs
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Project management and negotiation skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required
- Minimum 2-year post-secondary education required
- 2+ years of construction products sales experience plus, but not required
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
- Previous roofing experience is a plus
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
