Job Description

Remote Customer Service Representative supporting Globe Life insurance customers. Resolving inquiries across phone, email, and written correspondence while meeting quality and service metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior customer service and handle inquiries and issues promptly and professionally using multiple systems
  • Focus on first-contact resolution and high customer satisfaction while adhering to operational standards
  • Act as first-tier support for all customer inquiries on behalf of Globe Life Inc.
  • Effectively communicate and resolve customer issues
  • Assist with department and company initiatives as needed
  • Assist with daily call volume, prioritizing service level
  • Provide accurate resolutions to customer inquiries
  • Meet customer needs on every interaction via phone, email, and written correspondence
  • Meet Quality Assurance requirements and key performance metrics
  • Perform other assigned duties
  • Work Monday to Friday with no weekend phone schedules

Requirements:

  • 1 year of customer service experience in a similar role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • General working knowledge of the Internet for business use
  • Ability to learn new computer systems
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Professional and friendly attitude with ability to quickly develop rapport with customers
  • Flexibility in schedule
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to professionally handle and resolve escalated issues
  • Heavy computer and phone usage
  • Ability to sit 90% of the workday
  • Willingness to work shift work and overtime
  • Reliable and predictable attendance of assigned shift
  • Ability to work full time and/or part time based on position specifications
