Keep data models and logical and physical data structures up to date, ensuring they remain consistent with business rules
Ensure the quality of metadata, considering its usefulness for the various company departments
Participate in the evaluation of automation solutions that affect the production and use of information
Monitor the implementation of models and verify the quality of database contents
Define the conceptual, logical and physical modeling of information required by the business
Create, propose, maintain and update data models, ensuring normalization, consistency and reduction of redundancies
Define data access security procedures
Redesign data models to improve database performance
Gather data distribution requirements and work with DBAs on the physical implementation
Work on architecture modeling and implementation of BI and Big Data systems, metrics and dashboards
Design and develop architecture for data services in relational, analytical and NoSQL ecosystems
Promote BI best practices and provide consulting, support and mentoring to business areas
Participate in the development and update of data management and governance methodologies
Support the specification of integration mechanisms, including services, ETL, database links and DBMS-based integration
Develop SQL scripts for data validations and report specifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
Alternatively, completion of any undergraduate degree accompanied by a postgraduate certificate in Information Technology of at least 360 hours
Preferably 3 years of experience in data modeling and integration of large volumes in analytical and transactional environments
Knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling
Advanced SQL knowledge, including DDL, DML and DCL
Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2 and MongoDB
Experience with PowerDesigner, Erwin and CA-Gen
Experience with integrations via DBMSs, Database Links and ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter
Desirable certification in at least one of the following databases: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, SAP ASE, SAP IQ or MySQL
