Job Description

Decommissioning Engineer/Manager supporting planning and delivery of decommissioning projects in Central and Eastern Europe. Working with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure safe and compliant project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Support planning and coordination of technical project activities, including development and review of technical strategies and methodologies
  • Definition of work sequences, phasing and delivery approaches
  • Identification of constraints, risks and interfaces
  • Provide technical input into engineering solutions and methodologies
  • Support preparation and review of technical documentation, including engineering studies and reports
  • Coordinate interfaces across technical disciplines, including engineering design, environmental and waste considerations, health, safety and regulatory compliance
  • Support clients in oversight of project delivery, including monitoring progress against scope, schedule and deliverables
  • Contribute to project and programme reporting, including progress updates and technical inputs
  • Operate within a multi-stakeholder environment, supporting coordination between clients and funding institutions, contractors and suppliers, multidisciplinary project teams

Requirements:

  • Experience in decommissioning, engineering, infrastructure or environmental projects
  • Experience working in regulated or complex project environments
  • Understanding of engineering project delivery and methodologies
  • Understanding of construction or decommissioning sequencing and planning
  • Understanding of health, safety and environmental considerations
  • Ability to contribute to technical documentation and engineering deliverables
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Relevant degree (engineering or related discipline) or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in client-facing roles
  • English language proficiency (minimum B2 level)
