Job Description
Deputy Chief of Party leading multi-national level implementation of a very-large institutional grant-funded program. Ensure effective coordination with local partners and donor compliance.
Responsibilities:
- This Deputy Chief of Party serves as the key leader for the multi-national level implementation of a very-large institutional grant-funded program or project.
- Lead a large country management team in contextualizing the program model.
- Ensure effective coordination with local partners, a national Steering Committee, and the donor or prime awardee.
- Ensure the program or project aligns to applicable audit requirements from institutional donors.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience implementing and managing donor-funded programs focused on disaster preparedness, emergency response, and/or disaster risk reduction.
- Experience managing several sub-awardees in consortium.
