Job Description
Director of Affiliate Marketing managing affiliate and influencer programs at Monks. Leading a team and driving client growth in a digital marketing agency framework.
Responsibilities:
- Manage/mentor team of junior affiliate and influencer specialists
- Publisher development ensuring our clients are working with best in class affiliate and influencer partners
- Serve as expert in affiliate and influencer marketing within business development & pitch scenarios showing thought leadership and innovative ideas
- Work closely with influencers, content and top of funnel affiliate publishers to provide affiliate presence in all parts of marketing funnel
- Weekly reporting/client calls to communicate performance metrics and strategy
- Analyzing and reporting on existing programs
- Effectively work with other digital strategy teams to bring affiliate best practices to life with larger agency integrated offering
- Projecting yearly/quarterly/monthly affiliate budgets
- Work with the integrated media teams to determine the best use of budget allocation, audience targeting and creative analyses
- Execution of quarterly business reviews & other client facing presentations that review performance, insights and strategic opportunities
- Manage & grow relationships with affiliate and agency clients to show credibility in affiliate expertise and trustworthiness of affiliate programs
Requirements:
- 8+ years of direct affiliate and/or influencer experience
- History of direct responsibility and lead for midsize to large clients
- Strong digital agency experience with multiple revenue driving channels
- Proven strategy of digital marketing platforms that coincide with affiliate (ShareaSale, Impact Radius, Commission Junction, Rakuten and Google Analytics)
- Successful management of large budgets
- Have worked in a client facing role with ability to work autonomously
- G- Suite proficiency; most importantly Docs, Sheets & Slides
- Exceptional communication skills & interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, analytical and ability to multi-task with multiple clients
- An eagerness to work as a member of a fast-growing team
