Job Description
Director of Business Operations at The Chicago School, managing operational processes and risk management across departments. Collaborates with leaders to ensure effective organizational performance.
Responsibilities:
- lead key operations processes and risk management
- manage university-wide priorities and processes
- ensure operational activities execution and stakeholder accountability
- develop and maintain operational tracking tools and documentation
- manage the University’s policy and procedure administration process
- produce reports regarding compliance obligations and areas of potential risk
- oversee operational effectiveness review cycles
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field
- five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, operations, compliance, assessment, project management, organizational effectiveness, or related area
- experience developing and managing cross-functional projects
- technical capability with business intelligence and productivity tools (e.g., Power BI, Workday, Office 365)
- experience with process mapping, workflow design, and continuous improvement methodologies
- experience analyzing operational, financial, or performance data
