Job Description

Corporate Citizenship & Community Affairs Leader at Global Partners acting as Executive Director for the Global for Good Fund. Managing strategic charitable activities and community engagement plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the acting Executive Director for the company sponsored nonprofit the Global for Good Fund.
  • Lead and Oversee the strategic plan, fundraising and development initiatives, operational management, board relations, and community engagement for the Global for Good Fund.
  • Develop and execute long term strategy for corporate giving and charitable activities that support business objectives.
  • Coordinate across departments to determine giving priorities and resources.
  • Work with accounting to properly track and evaluate corporate giving.
  • Work with members of the executive team, Global for Good Fund Board, community liaisons, and Government and Community Partnerships Leader to establish, track, and execute upon charitable goals.
  • Develop and oversee retail charitable programs of cause related marketing promotional sales, point of sale round-up campaigns, in-kind food donations, and other programs.
  • Oversee and administer employee matching gift, employee relief fund, and volunteer programs.
  • Identify and fund strategic community partnerships.
  • Manage key community partnership relationships.
  • Manage two direct reports - Retail Charitable Initiatives Manager and Corporate Citizenship Coordinator.
  • Establish Community Engagement Plans with Government and Community Partnerships Department Leader, Strategy and Transformation Department Leaders, Executives, and local community leaders.
  • Collaborate with Government and Community Partnerships Leader to execute community engagement plans and manage efforts and investments made by Community Liaison Managers.

Requirements:

  • Proven successful volunteer program design.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
