Job Description
Enterprise architecture director translating business needs into technology roadmaps for Humana, a U.S. healthcare and insurance company. Leading architects, governance, standards, and strategic IT execution.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs into technical systems solutions and architectural roadmaps
- Guide a team of architects in activating architecture principles, patterns, and standards
- Address and solve business issues through architecture practices
- Engage stakeholders to ensure architectures meet expected outcomes and can be technically executed
- Identify information technology architectures and facilitate architecture development aligned with business goals
- Participate in governance activities to ensure compliance with enterprise and solution architecture standards
- Ensure implementation of technology standards
- Provide visibility into enterprise impacts of solutions on operational and financial outcomes
- Lead development of the organization's technical and architectural staff
- Coordinate intradepartmental activities
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with Segment or Business strategy
- Drive business outcomes within the management scope
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8 or more years of technical experience
- 5 or more years of management experience
- Progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systems
- 10 or more years designing, developing, and testing software applications
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Home internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
- Wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection suggested
- Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
