Job Description
Director of Integrated Communications at athenahealth developing and executing integrated communication strategies. Partnering with the Chief Product & Operations Officer and managing external visibility and media relations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary communications partner to the Chief Product & Operations Officer
- Build and run an integrated annual communications plan for the Product & Operations organization
- Identify and develop media-ready story angles
- Develop and execute external visibility strategy for the Chief Product & Operations Officer
- Ensure message accuracy and coordinate reviews
- Proactively connect across Integrated Communications and Marketing
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in integrated communications, executive communications, corporate communications, public relations, or a related field
- Experience in healthcare technology, health IT, or a regulated industry
- Strong executive writing capability and editorial judgment
- PR experience
- Experience developing thought leadership content
- Familiarity with regulated or claims-sensitive communications
- High ownership and strong prioritization skills
- Competency in AI utilization
