Job Description
Director of Engineering at PerfectingPeds overseeing AI-enhanced health platform development. Seeking a visionary leader with deep Salesforce development experience in a startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to define the 'AI-First' roadmap for RxJr.
- Decide how to use generative AI and predictive modeling to automate triage, enhance provider workflows, and revolutionize pediatric care coordination.
- Architect the integration of LLMs within the Salesforce ecosystem to create a platform that thinks with our providers.
- Write code, configure flows, and debug integrations on Day 1.
- Personally handle complex APEX, Omniscript, LWC, and API integrations, ensuring core functionality is robust before delegating.
- Optimize for learning and speed, comfortable shipping MVPs, gathering feedback, and iterating immediately.
- Implement a rigorous but fast automated testing framework. We need to break things to learn, but we cannot break the user experience.
- Embrace the startup pace by prioritizing shipping value over perfecting bureaucracy.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of deep Salesforce development.
- Experience (or significant personal projects) involving the integration of AI/LLMs into business workflows.
- Proficiency in Omniscript, APEX, LWC, SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs is non-negotiable.
- Strong preference for Eastern Standard Time (EST) to align with executive stakeholders and core operations.
- You have thrived in early-stage environments where resources are lean, timelines are tight, and 'that's not my job' is never said.
Benefits:
- Immediate Impact: You will be building the core platform, not tweaking a legacy system. Your fingerprints will be on every part of the codebase.
- The AI Frontier: This is a rare chance to apply cutting-edge AI to a tangible, high-stakes domain (pediatric health).
- Visionary Team: Join a leadership team that values speed, innovation, and technical courage.
