Job Description
People Partner director leading HR strategy, analytics, Workday, and AI enablement for Marathon Health’s value-based primary care organization. Advising healthcare leaders and developing a six-person People Partner team.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the People Partner strategy, priorities, KPIs, and success measures
- Lead, coach, and develop the six-person People Partner team
- Advise business people leaders and clinical operations senior leaders on workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, leadership performance, change management, and business transformation
- Assess workforce capacity, organizational structure, critical roles, talent risks, and future capabilities
- Strengthen people-leader capability through coaching, consultation, tools, and scalable learning
- Provide senior-level direction for complex investigations, performance matters, accommodations, leaves, separations, and workplace concerns
- Partner with HRIS to optimize Workday processes, data quality, reporting, and manager self-service
- Identify and implement responsible AI-enabled tools and automation across People Partner workflows and healthcare workforce decision-making
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and create recommendations and impact scorecards
- Lead people strategy for organizational changes and enterprise transformations
- Monitor employment requirements and healthcare workforce considerations and guide policy application
- Oversee assigned People Operations programs and vendors, including leave administration, workers’ compensation, unemployment, immigration, and compliance reporting
Requirements:
- 10 or more years of progressive human resources or People Partner experience
- At least 5 years managing a People Partners Team or comparable HR business partner function
- Demonstrated experience supporting a complex healthcare organization, clinical workforce, or multi-site healthcare operations
- Hands-on experience using Workday for HR business processes, workforce reporting, data-informed decisions, and process improvement
- Experience applying AI-enabled tools, automation, or advanced analytics within healthcare, human resources, or workforce operations
- Understanding of responsible-use and data-privacy considerations
- Advanced knowledge of teammate relations, employment law, performance management, organizational design, workforce planning, change leadership, and HR operations
- Demonstrated success advising senior leaders, navigating ambiguity, influencing across a matrixed organization, and leading complex decisions with sound judgment
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, healthcare administration, organizational leadership, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
