Job Description
District Credit Manager growing Lowe's home-improvement sales through DIY and Pro Credit products. Coaching store associates and analyzing district performance to achieve credit targets.
Responsibilities:
- Execute Lowe's DIY and Pro Credit products across assigned districts
- Grow retail sales through Lowe's Credit products while achieving targets for credit applications, credit sales, and credit penetration
- Build and maintain relationships with store associates, District Managers, district teams, regional field leaders, and business partners
- Work with district leadership to develop and implement strategic plans and communicate results
- Model effective credit-selling behaviors and provide hands-on coaching and training
- Host weekly calls and participate in store walks to support promotional activities and new credit initiatives
- Collect and communicate credit market intelligence for business decision-making
- Analyze local and territory performance trends using company reporting and ad-hoc analyses
- Identify credit opportunities and emerging risks and recognize performance
- Resolve credit issues as necessary
- Partner with lending providers to assess business risk, protect Lowe's reputation, customers, and assets, and support compliance
- Escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently
- Maintain customer interaction as a critical component of the role
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, communications or related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement, if applicable
- 7 years of experience in retail operations, sales, or credit
- Alternatively, 5–7 years of combined experience in retail sales or credit in lieu of degree and experience requirements in sales/credit
- Experience developing credit performance plans and analyzing performance trends
- Ability to coach and train store associates on credit-selling behaviors
- Ability to build relationships with store and district leadership
- Ability to assess business risk and support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Ability to manage and report control issues transparently
- Customer interaction experience
