Job Description
Donor Development Specialist growing donor relationships and fundraising revenue for March of Dimes, which advocates for healthy moms and babies. Managing events, volunteers, stewardship, and donor data remotely in Milwaukee.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and steward donor relationships to drive mission impact and market revenue growth
- Achieve revenue goals through donor and prospective donor relationships and DIY events
- Collaborate with market leadership to execute event tactics and mobilize volunteers
- Maintain a donor portfolio and contribute to market success
- Maintain data integrity and influence donor retention rates
- Ensure best-in-class fundraising events that drive impact and increase revenue
- Communicate March of Dimes' work and connect donor interests with its mission
- Execute donor stewardship practices and increase year-over-year revenue
- Secure DIY events and provide tailored donor experiences
- Manage event teams for March for Babies
- Maintain a year-round revenue pipeline
- Identify and coordinate volunteer roles for event committees
- Coordinate with Centralized Logistics for successful virtual and in-person events, programs, and meetings
- Maintain CRM/FRED data integrity and log donor interactions
- Collaborate with Centralized Logistics and Finance on invoicing, collections, and sponsorship allocation
- Report to the Executive Director
Requirements:
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to plan and execute successful events
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- At least 2 years of experience
- Four-year college degree (preferred)
