Job Description
Bilingual Drug Safety Coordinator supporting pharmacovigilance and adverse-event documentation for Cencora, a global pharmaceutical solutions company. Managing safety data, quality checks, reconciliations, and client follow-ups.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, scan, and document pertinent clinical information in compliance with SOPs, protocols, and applicable legislation
- Request additional information or clarification from internal and external clients
- Review patient information in databases and ensure accurate documentation
- Attach Post Infusion Reports to databases
- Enter data into program-specific databases and the Quality Management System
- Sort, file, and review incoming faxes and documents
- Assist with document translation processing
- Perform quality checks on adverse event reports
- Assist with literature search and review activities
- Perform reconciliation activities with internal and external clients and partners
- Conduct follow-up and clarification activities to ensure safety reports are complete
- Perform other assigned duties and tasks
- May participate in standby/on-call coverage
Requirements:
- Minimum science graduate with 6 months to 1 year of experience and interest in Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance
- Diploma or degree concentrated in Life Sciences is a strong asset
- Knowledge of the Pharmacovigilance industry is an asset
- Experience in medical and/or pharmaceutical fields and medical terminology is an asset
- Bilingual English and French is mandatory
- Ability to work any 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, if necessary
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Effective organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Proven attention to detail
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office programs
- Good internet required for remote work
