Job Description
Drupal Developer building and maintaining Drupal CMS web applications for GDIT’s government healthcare mission. Developing PHP integrations, modules, themes, and responsive front-end solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Technical Lead in developing, enhancing, and maintaining existing and new Drupal web applications
- Develop and maintain Drupal websites, modules, and themes following best practices and coding standards
- Customize Drupal core functionality and contributed modules to meet project requirements
- Work on API integrations and custom solutions using PHP and Drupal services
- Implement responsive, user-friendly designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other frameworks
- Develop and optimize database structures using MySQL or equivalent database systems
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects
- Design, develop, and maintain innovative web solutions using Drupal
- Contribute to both back-end and front-end processes
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of CMS web applications supporting healthcare fraud prevention
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in Drupal development; Drupal 10 preferred
- Experience with Drupal theming and module development
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git
- Familiarity with cloud hosting services such as AWS or Azure
- Experience using Visual Studio Code for writing, editing, and debugging
- Experience using Active Directory to organize, manage, and secure network resources
- Understanding of Agile development practices and tools such as Jira/Confluence
- No clearance required
- US citizenship not required
- Relevant Drupal development certifications are a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for web development
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong time-management skills
