Job Description
Back-end developer building Scala services and OpenShift containerized applications. Supporting secure, scalable platforms for mission-critical US federal health systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and configure high-quality back-end services aligned with business and technical requirements
- Collaborate with UI developers on custom UI integration with API and back-end components
- Use RedHat OpenShift to design, deploy, and operate containerized applications
- Apply engineering best practices for scalability, maintainability, and security
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance back-end components for stability and performance
- Support a modernized platform for mission-critical federal health systems
Requirements:
- Experience designing, building, and configuring applications in modern back-end environments
- Hands-on experience with Scala for back-end development
- Experience with RedHat OpenShift or similar container orchestration technologies
- Experience integrating back-end services with custom UI components
- Ability to work effectively in remote Agile teams
- US Citizenship Required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Work authorization in the US without current or future visa sponsorship
