Job Description
Go-Backend-Engineer für cloudbasierte Softwarelösungen eines deutschen Technologieunternehmens. Entwicklung skalierbarer REST-APIs und Backend-Services mit Kubernetes, Docker und Cloud-native-Technologien.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and enhance REST APIs, primarily using Go
- Maintain and improve existing backend services
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices
- Ensure high code quality through static analysis and linting
- Develop internal CLI tools and supporting utilities
- Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka, S3 storage and containerized environments
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to deliver reliable and scalable backend solutions
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in backend/API development
- Strong practical experience with Go and building REST APIs
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ or Kafka, and S3-compatible storage
- Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
- Good shell/CLI skills
- Understanding of Test-Driven Development and software quality best practices
- Residence in Germany
- Fluent German (C1)
