Job Description
Senior Golang Backend Engineer building secure, scalable backend systems for MilTech products. Developing APIs, integrations, and mission-critical services supporting defense and security technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop backend components within a secure DSC environment
- Implement APIs for seamless interaction with other system components
- Develop business logic, state models, event processing, and logging mechanisms
- Work with MS SQL Server, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity
- Integrate with related systems and services
- Participate in technical design, task estimation, and code reviews
- Troubleshoot and fix defects identified during testing, security audits, and acceptance phases
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems for MilTech products handling mission-critical data
- Contribute to systems impacting defense and security technologies
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial Golang development experience
- Experience designing and developing backend services, REST/gRPC APIs, and system integrations
- Strong expertise with MS SQL Server, including schema design, transactions, indexes, stored procedures, and query optimization
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Linux environments
- Understanding of secure development principles, including authorization, authentication, access control, audit, and API protection
- Background in microservices or modular architecture
- Ability to write maintainable, well-documented, and tested code
- Experience participating in code reviews and technical design sessions
- Willingness to work within secure infrastructure and comply with strict information security protocols
- Nice-to-have: experience developing government information systems or highly secure platforms
- Nice-to-have: knowledge of digital signature (КЕП), user action logging, and audit trail
- Nice-to-have: experience integrating systems across isolated or protected environments
- Nice-to-have: MS SQL Server experience in production environments
- Nice-to-have: understanding of Kubernetes, message brokers, and event-driven architecture
- Nice-to-have: experience with high-load or mission-critical services
- Nice-to-have: strong security-focused mindset
