Job Description
Professional Education Manager advancing physician education for Anteris Technologies’ biomimetic TAVR valve. Managing speakers, congress programs, curricula, and digital learning across North America and Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain healthcare professional educational content aligned with the Medical Affairs evidence strategy and applicable review and approval processes
- Prepare KOL faculty and HCP presenters to discuss scientific evidence at congresses, advisory boards, and investigator meetings
- Stay current on structural heart research, TAVR clinical evidence, and emerging approaches to evaluating valve performance and patient outcomes
- Manage day-to-day Anteris Speakers Bureau operations, including faculty coordination, scheduling, presentation review, speaker preparation, and post-program follow-up
- Coordinate contracts, fair market value assessments, approvals, engagement records, transfer-of-value reporting, and disclosure requirements
- Track program reach, faculty engagement, participant feedback, and educational effectiveness
- Lead planning and execution of professional education activities at major cardiovascular congresses
- Develop symposia, workshops, case-based education, and the annual Professional Education Plan
- Design educational modules on valve hemodynamics, flow restoration science, patient–prosthesis mismatch, clinical trial design, and evidence
- Develop digital learning approaches, including webinars, e-learning, and online case libraries
- Adapt educational content for regional audiences and each market’s regulatory status
- Establish measures of learning, engagement, and program effectiveness
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a clinical, life science, or related discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience in medical affairs, professional education, clinical education, or a related medical device function, including direct responsibility for physician education programs
- Experience coordinating physician faculty or speaker programs in a regulated medical device environment
- Strong scientific literacy in cardiovascular medicine, with the ability to interpret clinical evidence and discuss valve performance, hemodynamics, and clinical trial design with physician faculty
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, engaging educational content
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs, stakeholders, and deadlines
- Understanding of HCP engagement compliance, including contracting, fair market value, applicable transparency reporting, and regional industry codes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to travel approximately 30–40%, including internationally for congresses, faculty engagements, and investigator meetings
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required to comply with health institutions, state, local municipality, and/or travel regulations
