Job Description
Elektrokonstrukteur EPLAN designing electrical schematics and documentation for ALTEN’s engineering projects. Applying EPLAN, electrical standards, and customer requirements across industrial sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical schematics according to customer requirements
- Review technical specifications and analyze requirements specifications, then implement them in customer projects
- Create and generate required reports and documentation, including assembly drawings, bills of materials, and terminal and cable lists
- Revise electrical schematics and technically manage and maintain existing customer orders
- Take responsibility for the selection, sizing, and specification of electrical equipment
- Create and maintain item master data, master data records, bills of materials, drawings, and layouts
- Analyze customer requirements and assess their feasibility
- Ensure and monitor compliance with applicable standards and regulations in electrical design
- Support other departments with electrical engineering-related questions
- Contribute to hazard analyses and risk assessments
Requirements:
- Completed degree in electrical engineering or completed vocational training in electrical engineering with further qualification as a state-certified technician (all genders), or a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in electrical engineering is preferred
- Good knowledge of relevant standards
- Knowledge of machinery directives and regulations
- Experience with ECAD systems such as EPLAN P8, EPLAN Fluid, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Beckhoff TwinCAT
- Proficient user of standard MS Office applications
- Experience with SAP or comparable PLM systems
- Knowledge of DIN EN 61355
- Very good command of German
- Good command of English
