Job Description
Escalator Engineer maintaining and repairing escalators across Greater London transport hubs. Supporting Stannah’s manufacturing, engineering, and access solutions business in safety-critical environments.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair a range of escalator systems across Greater London transport hubs
- Service, maintain, and repair escalators and moving walkways at major rail and underground sites
- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and callouts on equipment from various manufacturers
- Ensure high standards of service delivery, safety, and customer care
- Perform effective risk assessments during every visit
- Maintain site log cards during every visit
- Work across Greater London, including Gatwick Airport station and Stansted Airport station
- Operate in high-profile, safety-critical transport infrastructure environments
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience working on escalators and moving walkways
- Valid UK driving license essential
- Experienced escalator engineer living within the M25
- Appropriate right to work must be held by applicants
- Sponsorship is not available
- Ability to fault-find across mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience with KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems, and Otis 506 NCE equipment
