Job Description
Executive Assistant freeing TryHackMe’s co-founder to focus on high-impact priorities. Supporting operations across the bootstrapped cyber security training platform.
Responsibilities:
- Support co-founder Ben and free up his time for high-impact priorities
- Manage calendars and inboxes, which comprise less than 20% of the role
- Partner directly with the co-founder to remove friction, solve problems, and drive momentum across the business
- Provide department heads with support on partnership outreach, contractor coordination, ad-hoc projects, and hiring
- Help scale TryHackMe’s expert-led live class workshop programme
- Develop and manage a B2B client advisory board
- Manage personal tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling ad-hoc errands
- Support other teams with administrative and operational tasks
- Handle a broad range of responsibilities across the company and occasionally the co-founder’s personal life
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in an executive support role
- Experience in a founder-facing, high-trust role such as EA, BizOps, Chief of Staff, or Founder’s Associate
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup and/or scale-up
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong research skills for finding, verifying, and summarising information
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work with high-intensity founders
- Ability to operate with urgency in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate quickly
- Ability to work beyond normal hours when needed, including some availability beyond 5pm
- Genuine interest in product and how things are built
- Willingness to travel within the UK occasionally
- High performance standards
