Job Description
Executive Director overseeing healthcare revenue cycle client services for Solaris Health physician affiliates. Managing stakeholder alignment, RCM performance, escalations, and financial outcomes remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between physician practice affiliates, physicians, service line leaders, and the RCM operational team
- Compile enterprise-wide RCM performance KPI data, action items, and process improvement updates
- Communicate performance metrics, technology updates, outsourcing decisions, workflow changes, and RCM project remediation efforts to stakeholders
- Manage Directors of Client Services and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of support
- Provide updates on remediation projects and operational changes affecting aging, net revenue, patient experience, or financial outcomes
- Manage and resolve high-priority escalations, including patient relations concerns
- Prepare and present monthly RCM financial performance results at Affiliate Board Meetings and to service line leaders
- Participate in Monthly Operational Review and monthly Financial Close Meetings
- Triage and prioritize affiliate and service line leader questions and requests, coordinating with appropriate RCM functional areas
- Maintain understanding of affiliate operational goals and challenges and tailor communication and recommendations
- Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement in service delivery and financial outcomes
- Document and track communications, escalations, resolutions, and project statuses
- Perform other position-related duties as assigned
- Adhere to high standards of ethical conduct and support compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required
- Prior experience managing multiple RCM functional areas
- At least 2 years acting in a senior capacity for RCM Client Services
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in revenue cycle management spanning multiple functions, client services, or healthcare operations
- Proven experience in account management or stakeholder engagement in a healthcare setting, ideally within a multi-specialty or physician group environment
- Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate financial performance data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High emotional intelligence and diplomacy in managing escalated issues and complex stakeholder relationships
- Exceptional follow-up skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with RCM PM, EMR, and Intake systems
- Ability to build trusted relationships with internal operations and external clinical leaders
- Proactive problem-solving, action orientation, and accountability
- Ability to translate complex revenue cycle concepts into actionable insights for non-technical audiences
- Ability to operate with urgency, professionalism, and precision in high-stakes environments
- Adherence to Solaris Health Code of Conduct and applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Compliance with HIPAA confidentiality requirements
- Timely completion of Annual Compliance Training
