Job Description

Field Service EHS Manager leading EHS programs for Munters’ mission-critical climate solutions operations. Conducting audits, training teams, and ensuring OSHA compliance across field and data center environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs for field service operations
  • Serve as a safety leader and resource for field technicians, managers, contractors, and customers
  • Conduct field audits, inspections, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and site safety reviews
  • Support project planning and kickoff meetings to identify and mitigate safety risks before work begins
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, injuries, property damage, and unsafe conditions
  • Support root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions
  • Develop and deliver EHS training, onboarding, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and safety communications
  • Monitor corrective actions and maintain accurate EHS documentation and records
  • Prepare safety metrics, reports, dashboards, and management updates
  • Support customer audits, contractor qualification programs, and safety reviews
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, EPA, DOT, customer requirements, and applicable regulations
  • Partner with leadership to promote accountability, safety awareness, and continuous improvement
  • Work directly with field technicians, service managers, project teams, subcontractors, and customers across customer and data center environments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety & health, EHS, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • 5+ years of construction or field safety experience, including 3+ years in mission-critical environments
  • Experience working with field employees, contractors, general contractors, and customers
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926 and hazard-control practices
  • Experience with field audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, LOTO, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Hot Work, and electrical safety
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required
  • OSHA 500/510 preferred
  • ASP, CSP, CHST, or other recognized safety certification preferred
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence safety practices across an organization without direct authority
  • Comfortable working in construction sites, industrial facilities, and data centers
  • Ability to travel up to 75% and work flexible hours, including occasional nights/weekends and emergency response
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear required PPE
