Job Description
Field Service Engineer providing installation and maintenance support across customer sites in the APAC region. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while troubleshooting control systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist installation and maintenance support to customer sites, both onshore and offshore, across APAC region
- Perform hands-on work individually and as part of a Field Service team
- Ensure all in-field activities carried out safely complying with quality, customers' and company HSE standards and procedures
- Perform inspection, checks and testing of control systems and/or electrical systems used on Baker Hughes equipment
- Identify issues, fault-find and problem solve to ensure smooth and timely progression of the works
- Involve in installations, commissioning and Start Up of turbomachinery
- Planned maintenance outages and unscheduled maintenance events
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in machinery control system in the oil & gas, power generation or aviation industries
- Experience in machinery control system specifically in Mark VIe and or Mark Vies control system family
- Significant experience of troubleshooting, maintenance, start-up and commissioning of Gas Turbines Compressor and Gas Turbine Generator equipment and auxiliary systems
- Able to travel throughout Australia and internationally, spending up to 70%-80% of the time at site
- Analytical and problem solving skills together with good interpersonal & organizational skills
- Proactive mindset towards process improvement, automation and interpersonal.
