Job Description

Field Technician responsible for maintaining and improving T-Mobile's wireless networks in Texas. Supporting critical infrastructure and troubleshooting network performance issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
  • Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
  • Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
  • Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
  • Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
  • Develop yourself through continuous learning – completing training requirements to stay current on existing and new systems and products

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent relevant field experience required
  • 2–4 years of experience in field operations, maintenance, or related technical roles
  • 2–4 years of experience in wireless telecommunications or a related field
  • Electronics knowledge (Required)
  • Basic operational knowledge/understanding of circuits including RF transmitters, antenna systems, fiber, microwave radio and AC-DC power systems
  • Experience with Nokia RAN equipment
  • Experience with Ceragon Microwave technology is a plus
  • Attention To Detail (Required)
  • Problem Solving skills (Required)
  • Computer Fluency with programs such as Microsoft Office (Required)
  • Understanding of Internet Protocol and AI incorporation for logical components
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated; exhibits initiative in achieving company goals and objectives
  • Basic leadership skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
  • Flexibility with ever-changing environments and priorities
  • Willingness to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to lift 50-70 pounds and work outside in elements
