Job Description
Finance Analyst supporting the finance and operations team with general ledger accounting and financial reporting. Ensuring data integrity while managing financial records and reporting across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries based on monthly financial activity
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Support month-end close processes and financial reporting activities
- Assist with financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP
- Maintain and update general ledger records
- Support cash management activities
- Oversee company credit card transactions and ensure accurate coding
- Track and verify receipts, ensuring complete and compliant documentation
- Follow up with internal stakeholders regarding missing or incorrect submissions
- Provide guidance on expense submission processes
- Perform daily data processing tasks (downloading, organizing, and uploading reports)
- Maintain data accuracy across systems (e.g., SharePoint)
- Support data tagging and GL coding
- Assist with reporting and data validation tasks
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Follow and maintain established workflows
- Participate in team reviews and process improvements
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Experience with financial reporting (US GAAP)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Sage Intacct (ERP system)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with Ramp or similar expense management platforms
- Experience with Power BI or data visualization tools
- Experience in multi-unit or retail business environments
