Job Description

Operations & Finance Coordinator supporting operational, financial and logistical workflows at Social Currant. Collaborating effectively in a remote-first environment to enhance business functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an executional partner to the Chief of Staff across all things operations, to ensure the business runs smoothly as it continues to grow.
  • Support in managing day-to-day Accounts Receivable and Payable workflows, including client invoicing, creator payments, vendor invoices and expense reconciliation
  • Coordinate travel and logistics for Social Currant staff and subcontracted creators working on campaigns, including booking, itinerary management, and on-the-ground support as-needed
  • Assist with procurement processes, including vendor coordination and maintaining organized records
  • Work closely with the Chief of Staff to identify operational gaps and build lightweight, tech-enabled solutions — from campaign tracker customizations to workflow automations
  • Document and refine internal processes, tools and workflows across the organization
  • Support hiring and onboarding workflows in coordination with the Chief of Staff, including candidate communications, interview scheduling, pipeline tracking, and new hire setup

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in operations, finance coordination, or a similar role — startup or agency experience a plus
  • Hands-on experience with financial workflows such as invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, payments processing, or expense reconciliation
  • Tech-savvy with a track record of building or improving systems — experience creating workflow automations or custom tool configurations (e.g. Zapier, Make, Airtable, or similar) is a strong plus
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Asana, Notion, etc)
  • Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail and process
  • High degree of discretion and professionalism — comfortable handling confidential information including contracts, financials, and vendor agreements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive self-starter who can manage multiple priorities without losing the threads.
