Job Description
Compliance experts informing Mercor’s AI-training engagements through a detailed workflow intake. Sharing real-world financial-crime practices, decision points, and AI failure examples.
Responsibilities:
- Complete an approximately 15-minute written intake about compliance practice
- Describe day-to-day workflows, time allocation, and workflows core to the role
- Explain how experienced practitioners divide the compliance field using insider perspectives
- Provide concrete examples of where AI gets compliance work wrong based on personal casework
- Identify invisible aspects of compliance work that outsiders and project designers tend to miss
- Contribute insights that shape the scope of future compliance engagements for AI labs
- Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Practicing or recently practicing compliance and financial-crime professional
- Experience in first line, second line, internal audit, or external advisory
- Experience in one or more areas: KYC/CDD and client onboarding; transaction monitoring and AML investigations; sanctions and screening; fraud and disputes; trade and communications surveillance; conduct and consumer-protection compliance; regulatory reporting and change; compliance testing and assurance
- CAMS, CGSS, CFCS, CFE, CRCM, an ICA diploma, or FINRA registrations preferred; deep domain experience without a credential is equally welcome
- Willingness to write detailed, specific responses about the mechanics of compliance work
- Must not be an H1-B or STEM OPT candidate
