Job Description
Senior Finance Planning Systems Manager supporting AbbVie’s innovative medicines and finance systems. Leading SAC, BPC, BIP, and SAP operations, incident remediation, and FP&A process optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison between business finance users and the Business Technical Support community
- Support business systems and related processes across Finance Functional Areas, Affiliates, and Sites
- Triage SAC application incidents
- Serve as subject matter expert for business system operations and systems lifecycle activities
- Lead month-end close systems processes, including data feeds, data validation, and incident remediation
- Coordinate with subject matter experts in BPC, SAC, and AA Commercial Financial Planning and Analysis teams
- Support AA Global HQ, the US organization in Irvine, AA LATAM, and AA International as needed
- Provide training and hands-on Financial Planning systems/template support to end users
- Liaise with Business and Technical Support Project Managers for SAC testing, data validation, and system deployments
- Coordinate communication, status meetings, and incident remediation during deployments
- Lead incident remediation and resolve user questions with project teams
- Lead process optimization initiatives with the FP&A organization
- Work with SAC, BPC, BIP, and SAP systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology Systems related
- Minimum 6+ years of progressive and related experience
- 3–5 years of prior experience in a strategic/analytical role
- Highly skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel 25%
