Job Description
FP&A Director responsible for OneStream architecture and solutions in finance operations. Leading complex integrations and optimizations for executive decision-making across global finance teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end OneStream architecture and solution design for our global finance operations, including complex financial modeling.
- Design and manage enterprise-scale data integrations connecting OneStream with Snowflake and multiple source systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, Salesforce, Workday) for executive decision-making.
- Drive system performance optimization through Business Rules refinement, Cube View tuning, and infrastructure monitoring to maintain sub-second response times for global users.
- Design intuitive user experiences and streamlined workflows that enable finance stakeholders to efficiently leverage OneStream capabilities.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, data governance policies, and security protocols to ensure compliance with SOX and internal audit requirements.
- Partner with senior finance leadership to translate strategic business requirements into scalable technical architectures that support long-term organizational growth.
- Provide technical escalation support for critical issues and architect robust disaster recovery protocols to protect enterprise financial data.
- Mentor FP&A and technical teams on architectural best practices, code quality, and system scalability to build organizational OneStream expertise.
- Evaluate and implement emerging OneStream technologies (BI/Relational Blend, Genesis, Sensible AI) to transform financial reporting from static analysis to predictive insights that drive strategic business decisions.
Requirements:
- Expert in enterprise financial systems, with at least 5 years of deep OneStream XF experience including complex business rule development (VB.NET/C#), solution design, and production deployments.
- OneStream SaaS financial modeling expertise including subscription revenue recognition, cohort analysis, and consumption-based forecasting methodologies.
- OneStream governance and automation proficiency – hands-on experience optimizing and stabilizing Application Control Manager (ACM) processes.
- Advanced integration capabilities with proven experience architecting OneStream connections to enterprise systems (Snowflake, Oracle EBS, Salesforce, etc.) using REST APIs and web services.
- Proven SQL expertise for complex financial data modeling, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting.
- Financial domain expertise including budgeting/forecasting processes, audit controls, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- OneStream platform extensibility experience including MarketPlace solution implementation and custom extensibility framework development.
- Executive stakeholder alignment and communication – demonstrated ability to partner with senior finance executives to translate strategic requirements into scalable technical solutions that deliver measurable improvements, including strong skills presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical leadership experience guiding both internal teams and external vendors through complex OneStream implementations, including post-go-live optimization and support.
- Mentorship and knowledge transfer capabilities with a track record of elevating team technical competencies.
- Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science or information systems.
- OneStream Certified Professional Architect certification strongly preferred.
