Job Description
FP&A Director responsible for financial planning and analysis at Level Access. Partnering closely with executives to align strategy and investments for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis function for Level Access
- Be responsible for the annual operating plan, quarterly forecast cycles, and long-range plan, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial objectives.
- Build and maintain an integrated financial model that connects revenue, margins, operating expenses, headcount, and cash.
- Establish and handle a company-wide performance management cadence with clear Financial KPIs, targets, and accountability.
- Define and refine the company’s SaaS metrics framework using robust unit economics and scenario analysis.
- Partner with Rev Ops, GTM and Product leaders to recommend portfolio and segment actions.
- Serve as a primary finance partner to senior executives and leaders, providing analyses, decision memos, and recommendations.
- Lead financial evaluation for major initiatives (such as M&A, partnerships, and large enterprise deals).
- Build executive and board-level reporting that explains performance, trends, and risks in a decision-ready format.
- Develop partnerships with leaders across various teams while championing a culture of accountability and data-informed decision-making.
- Improve the finance systems stack and introduce automation to reduce manual work.
Requirements:
- 8–12 years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles, with significant time in B2B SaaS or recurring revenue models.
- Proven experience owning company-level planning and forecasting, not just a single function or region.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and unit economics, and how they tie into long-term value creation.
- Proven track record of partnering with senior executives and influencing decisions through data and insight.
- Sophisticated proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with comfort handling complex, multi-scenario models.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience preparing materials for executive and board audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS company in the $75M–$300M ARR range (preferred).
- Exposure to M&A evaluation and post-deal integration from a finance perspective (preferred).
- Experience working with modern planning and BI tools in addition to traditional spreadsheets (preferred).
