Job Description
Freelance linguist translating financial and banking content from English into Albanian for TransPerfect clients. Remote, United States-based engagement with flexible project participation.
Responsibilities:
- Translate financial and banking content from English into Albanian
- Support TransPerfect's clients' translation needs
- Complete a short client-specific e-learning module
- Undergo a bank-required background check if proceeding with onboarding
- Work as a freelance linguist in TransPerfect's translator database
Requirements:
- Native level of target language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Specialized in Financial/Banking subject matter
- Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
- One of the following: a degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education; 2 years of translation experience and college degree; 5 years of experience and no degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
- Proven experience with finance/banking content
- Completion of a short client-specific e-learning module
- Background check required by the bank if proceeding with onboarding
- Based in the United States
