Job Description
Finance Specialist training Meridial’s AI models on financial analysis, accounting, markets, and risk management. Evaluating responses and documenting errors in English and French.
Responsibilities:
- Converse with AI models in English and French on real-world financial problems and theoretical questions
- Verify factual accuracy and logical consistency of model responses
- Capture reproducible error traces and document failure modes
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
- Challenge advanced language models on financial topics including GAAP, IFRS, balance sheets, cash flow forecasting, derivatives, valuation, budgeting, taxation, and compliance
- Help train AI systems that support financial analysis, education, and decision-making
Requirements:
- Finance expertise in financial modeling, accounting principles, investment analysis, financial markets, risk management, corporate finance, and international finance
- Expertise in French-speaking regions
- Experience with GAAP and IFRS standards, balance sheet analysis, cash flow forecasting, derivatives, equity and debt valuation, budgeting, taxation, and compliance
- Fluency in French
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a closely related field is ideal
- Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA signal fit
- Hands-on experience in financial institutions, corporate finance, or regulatory roles
- Clear, metacognitive communication and ability to show your work
- Ability to converse in both English and French
